About You
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will work with our team to create a personal development plan in order to support your development in the company and the industry. A structured training plan will help you grow your knowledge and drive your career. As part of your training, you will be given the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of our business, acquiring a breadth of knowledge and experience that will enable you to become a credible and effective Actuarial and Investment professional.
As an integral part of our team, you will contribute to a wide range of work within the pensions software sector. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of software users, including consultancies, insurers, and other firms both within our group and across the industry. You will play a key role in supporting our users, ensuring they can make the most of our market-leading pensions software. Beyond this, you will have the opportunity to shape the future development of our software, including contributing to our ambitious expansion into the USA. This provides the opportunity to enhance your technical abilities and develop core actuarial competences on a daily basis whilst working in a challenging environment as part of a rapidly growing, innovative pension fintech firm.
As part of the Mantle team, you will:
* Help provide a client service that is proactive, timely, and fully focused on the needs of the client and maintains the excellent reputation that has been established by our impressive team.
* Be encouraged to use your creativity and critical thinking to come up with tailor-made solutions to unique problems.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills through regular interaction with clients.
* Collaborate with a range of stakeholders who use our pensions software, including consultancies, insurers, and other organisations within and outside our group.
* Work closely with clients to solve problems and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
* Build strong relationships with clients, users, and internal teams to foster collaboration and ensure satisfaction with our solutions.
* Learn our software and eventually develop into a superuser who can provide training, guidance, and demonstrations of our software to both new and existing users.
* Get involved in product development initiatives, helping to prioritise features and functionality to align with user and market demands.
* Support internal projects aimed at streamlining processes, improving functionality, and enhancing the user experience.
Responsibilities & Criteria
Essential criteria:
* An honours degree at 2:1 level or above.
* A Levels, or equivalent – Mathematics at Grade B or above.
* Excellent IT skills and competent in Microsoft packages, e.g. Word and Excel, with an aptitude for learning other systems.
* Experience of working proactively and using your own initiative to complete tasks.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to display a keen interest in the industry and environment in which we operate.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
