We are looking for a Project Support Officer to work in our busy Parking Services team, supporting the administration of parking projects, asset management and advisory disabled bays.
Parking Services is an area of expertise that aims to ensure the delivery of a high quality and effective service, with a commitment to change and improvement, driven by the councils ambitious Transport and Environmental policies and aims. For example, we are one of only 12 councils in the country currently due to introduce new Moving Traffic restrictions to help make roads safer, reduce congestion and improve air quality.
We will empower and support you through our comprehensive induction and training programme to develop your parking knowledge and other essential skills, such as: customer service and communication; decision making; the ability to problem solve and multitask.
You will be part of a supportive and multi skilled team providing you with the opportunity to work alongside colleagues as well as being able to work independently. This is an important role within the team, so you will need to show us that you have the necessary skills, attitude and confidence outlined in the job description to help bring greater resilience to Parking Services and contribute to our performance.
You will need to be able to work well on your own and as part of a team, proactively assist the resolution of customer queries, have personal resilience, be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills and good IT skills.
