Job Title Branch Manager – Birmingham
The Company
Our Client is one of the UK’s leading Independent Specialist Distributors of Heavyside Construction Materials led by a dynamic Senior Management Team and are regarded as Market Leaders with operations throughout the United Kingdom who are seeking to recruit a Branch Manager who is experienced in the Construction Material Distribution Sector and are driven by success.
For the right Candidate our Client is willing to offer a highly attractive salary package comprising of an extremely attractive basic salary coupled with a reward package that rewards achievement.
You will be responsible for managing and developing an existing operation which currently has a turnover of circa £15m and circa 20 staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Day to day management of the operation including sales, warehouse, health & safety and transport etc.
* Leading by example, including identifying potential customers and new business opportunities working with the sales team to increase sales.
* Work closely with the team to ensure that all aspects of the operation smoothly and that customer expectations are met.
* Continuously evaluate and improve all aspects of the operation.
* Communicate with other company departments and stakeholders as necessary to ensure success.
The Requirements
* Experience of working in Construction Product Distribution
* Proven organisational skills & planning ability
* Have commercial acumen.
* Be self-motivated and driven
* Be able to lead and inspire a team.
* Ability to work on own initiative & within a team
* A superb relationship building ability
* A proven track record and ability to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets
