We are currently seeking applicants for the following position:

Weekend Chef

Set on impressive grounds in a picturesque location on the shores of Belfast Lough, Rockport is a day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. The school ethos is firmly based on academic excellence combined with the character education typical of a Round Square School. Rockport is the only truly independent school in Northern Ireland.

Rockport School are looking to add to their team with the addition of an Weekend Chef. We are ideally looking for an all-rounder who can cook, bake, serve and turn their hand to any task and deal with a busy, time critical kitchen. We have a 5 star hygiene rating from Environmental Health and the ideal candidate will be hot on hygiene procedures, working to the highest standard of cleanliness. The candidate will also be responsible for compliance with Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations.

Basic hours of work are Saturday and Sunday 11am to 7pm (16 hours per weekend) Term time

July will entail a different working pattern to be discussed at interview
