KKey Accountabilities Below: Ø Provide the onsite technical support and expertise to all matters relating to the Automation System by being fully integrated in the layout and logic behind the system, specifically gaining an in-depth knowledge of Scada & Selektron. Ø Responsible for diagnosing failures and initiating solutions, utilising the system information (Skada) & drawings to identify failures, associated part numbers and offer suspected root cause. Ø Carrying out planned maintenance following the prescribed maintenance regime as required. Ø Ensure shift KPI’s are met by reacting to breakdowns in a methodical approach to ensure optimal machine performance. Ø Provide updates to Flow Managers with regards to breakdowns and realistic timeframes for repair, attend site meeting as required to ensure a collaborative approach to all aspects of the business. Ø Responsible for championing safe working principles and ensuring best practice and LOTO is adhered to. Ø Delivering a best in class handover to ensure issues are captured and acted on by completing handover sheets for every shift and delivering a comprehensive handover to incoming team to ensure issues do not roll over. Utilise Scada to ensure system availability. Resolve plant stoppages. Ensure H&S Lotto procedure and permits are stringently followed. Provide expertise on system capability. Immerse yourself into the implementation of the system and understand the full system layout and connectivity of the warehouse management system to ensure rapid diagnosis and resolution of all errors. Work with the Operations Manager to drive best practice and root cause analysis Our Ideal Person: Comprehensive understanding of production lines & packaging systems gained from working directly in an automated environment. Strong Electrical ability, ideally certified to HNC engineering or equivalent. H&S experience within a busy fast paced business is essential. A strong communicator. Strong Software Background. Highly computer literate / Excel / Word / PowerPoint. Experience working on Inverters / Servo Drives / HMI panels / 24v Rollers / Shuttles / Lifts.
