About the opportunity: Oversee technical aspects of construction projects from planning to execution. Collaborate with architects and engineers to review and approve design specifications. Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, addressing challenges as they arise. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in construction practices and materials. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of technical documents, including plans, specifications, and compliance reports. Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication on technical matters. About the benefits and rewards: The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £70k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits. About the requirements: Previous experience as a Technical Manager or Design Manager with a national or regional housebuilder. Strong team leadership skills with the drive to achieve business goals. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Extensive experience with established development methodologies. Proven experience in a similar role within a major company Engineering, Architecture, or relevant professional qualification (HNC, RIBA, NVQ Level 4/5).
