At Clyde, we're on an exciting journey of infrastructure transformation and change. We're seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our forward-thinking HR Operations Team and play a pivotal role in shaping our future.
Day-to-day, reporting directly to the HR Director, the Senior HR Business Partner will be a key player in driving our HR agenda and People Plan. As a trusted advisor and leader, you'll collaborate across HR Operations, SME HR teams, and the wider leadership team to deliver a range of initiatives, including:
1. Supporting ongoing HR operations and transformation activities.
2. Leading employee relations and trade union engagement to ensure smooth transitions during workforce and site changes.
3. Driving strategic workforce planning and resourcing strategies to support infrastructure transformation.
4. Overseeing consultations on workplace location changes, ensuring seamless project governance, and working closely with health and safety, communications, and HR teams.
5. Shaping the employee value proposition and collaborating on modernised contracting arrangements.
This role is ideal for a motivated HR leader with aspirations to progress within Clyde, as it offers potential future succession opportunities. This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Experience of the Senior HR Business Partner:
1. Leadership in Change Management: A proven track record of engaging stakeholders in transformation within industrial and unionised environments.
2. Strategic Planning and Project Management: Ability to navigate complex HR challenges with a hands-on approach.
3. Expertise in Employee Relations: Experience in union engagement, consultation processes, and employment law.
4. Stakeholder Influence: Strong interpersonal skills to guide leaders, teams, and unions effectively.
5. Resilience and Adaptability: A forward-thinking mindset to pivot and recover quickly in dynamic situations.
6. Commercial Awareness: Experience with bids and conceptual proposals is advantageous.
Qualifications for the Senior HR Business Partner:
1. The post holder would be degree qualified or have equivalent experience.
2. Recent CPD and a Member or Fellow of the CIPD.
