As our Asset Manager, you will gain insights and propose options for future program delivery and investment in our homes and work closely with our wider management team to shape our plans and strategic direction. You’ll implement our long-term Asset Management Strategy, leading and coordinating projects and acquisitions that directly support our vision. You will carry out stock condition surveys and inspections, ensuring all relevant information is documented and accessible to internal stakeholders to help manage completed works and prepare accurate budget assumptions. With strong experience in construction and property, you will be pivotal in ensuring good quality services meet tenant our needs, with all works meeting agreed financial budgets. You’ll act as the expert on retrofit and take an interest in the energy efficiency within all our properties, taking the lead with writing all relevant policies and procedures relating to asset management. Confident and communicative, you will develop good working relationships with external stakeholders including contractors, architects and other Housing Associations This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in asset management who is ready to progress into a senior management role. We’re looking for an individual with a strong track record in delivering effective asset planning and contract management to a large and diverse portfolio of mix tenure properties and associated budgets. You’ll hold a professional membership of a relevant construction industry body (RICS or CIOB) or relevant equivalent experience and a commitment to continual professional and management development. With experience in a similar role, you will have demonstrable knowledge around building construction methods and material and be accustomed to undertaking stock condition surveys, ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements always adhered to.
