Working within our Customer Operations, we have an opportunity to join as a Maintenance Technician – Electrical.
Within this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the company’s clean water assets and sites. This role will work across a variety of sites including water treatment works, reservoirs, and a range of small sites across the Powys area.
Effective communication with colleagues and other departments is essential to ensure smooth operations. You will be involved in fault diagnostics, repair, and modification of programmable logic controllers and ladder logic. It is crucial that all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner, with regular feedback on issues arising before, during, and following the tasks carried out.
The successful candidate will participate in a 24/7 stand-by rota and aim to become a Senior Authorised Person (SAP).
What You’ll Bring To The Role
Having experience of Clean Water Treatment and pumping stations would be very welcome, but it’s not essential.
A qualification in Electrical Maintenance is required, as well as a full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will have significant experience installing and maintaining instrumentation and electrical equipment, as well as experience of working with industrial equipment. Having good communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work individually as well as within a team will be advantageous.
