Due to recent investment & refurbishment in our restaurant & bar area we have an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to add valueto our food & beverage offering as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.

The Assistant F&B Manager will assist the Food & Beverage Operations Manager in overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations within our hotel. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences through effective leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
Everyday is different, but you’ll mostly be focused in the following areas:
* Operational Management: Assist in managing day-to-day F&B operations including restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
* Team Supervision and Training: Supervise F&B colleagues, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
* Guest Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of service excellence and guest satisfaction. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively. Implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and loyalty.
* Inventory and Cost Control: Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to achieve budgetary goals. Monitor food and beverage expenses, analyse financial reports, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
* Menu Development and Innovation: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus, promotions, and special events that reflect current culinary trends and meet guest preferences. Ensure consistency in food and beverage offerings across all outlets.
* Sales and Marketing Support: Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and promotional activities. Participate in planning and executing events and promotions.
* Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards, as well as regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality assurance and cleanliness standards.
You will have:
* Previous experience in F&B, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and F&B management software.
* Knowledge of industry trends, food and beverage regulations, and best practices.
