Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (1-2 days office a week - Bradford)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Drinking Water Contacts Analyst to join the Water Service Delivery team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Water Service Delivery are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
This role will take a data-driven approach to analysing the factors influencing contacts in relation to Water Quality. Through data analysis and interrogation of systems, you will identify critical factors and offer insight to inform the development of initiatives, process improvement opportunities and tactical interventions aimed at reducing the number of contacts received.
Support the Water Distribution teams to understand current performance through implementing management information dashboards and provision of insights to drive performance.
Where you fit in:
As our Drinking Water Contacts Analyst you will:
* Analyse factors influencing contacts, considering socio-economic and environmental conditions, supply sources, and network activities to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
* Perform correlation analysis on water quality contacts against various variables to understand relationships and prioritize initiatives.
* Extract data from corporate systems, validate accuracy, and conduct root cause analysis on contacts to identify opportunities for reducing contact rates.
* Produce clear performance reports on water quality contacts and root cause analysis findings to support business case initiatives.
* Work with Water Quality colleagues to produce validated contact figures and provide assurance for performance commitments.
* Act as the main contact from Water Distribution regarding Water Quality Contacts (WQC).
* Create management information dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to provide visibility of performance, insights, and improvement data related to WQC.
* Attend management meetings, engage stakeholders in performance discussions, and identify new ways of working to improve Water Distribution processes and systems.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
* Highly numerate and strong analytical skills. Able to present data in a clear and concise manner.
* High attention to detail & regulatory integrity.
* Ability to interpret and analyse large volumes of data.
* Ability to present back performance in management meetings.
* Be able to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
* Excellent IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications & YW systems, especially the following: ICE, Odyssey, Excel, SAP, SAP Business Warehouse.
* Proven history of building reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI and Excel including the collation and processing of raw data from multiple sources.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels across the business, including senior leaders and directors.
You will also benefit from having:
* Previous experience gained within the water industry.
* Previous experience in a regulated environment.
* Knowledge of Water Networks reactive and planned maintenance processes & regulatory commitments.
* Experience using SAP ECC system.
