The Business Manager to the NHFT and LPT Chair (‘the Business Manager’) provides comprehensive and personalised administrative support to the Chair, Deputy Chairs, and teams of Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) at both Trusts. Managing the administrative workflow for the office of the Chair and NEDs ensuring deadlines and needs are met in an efficient manner. This involves diary and email management, meeting administration (including arranging meetings with people at all levels both internally and externally and minute-taking), report writing and editing, action tracking and providing a confidential and professional customer care service as the first point of contact for the Chair and NEDs. The post holder will play an important role in supporting Non-Executive Directors during their terms, including recruitment, induction, appraisal, and exit and ensuring compliance with a range of items including mandatory training and supervision. NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community.
