Band 7 Locum Gynae Sonographer • Position: Gynae Sonographer • Banding: 7 • Location: Solihul • Start: ASAP • Rate: £45.00 - £50.00 per hour We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Locum Gynae Sonographer to join a well-established imaging team in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a dynamic clinical setting, providing high-quality gynecological ultrasound services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetric and gynecological scanning, ensuring accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: As a Gynae Sonographer, you will be responsible for conducting a range of gynecological ultrasound scans, including transabdominal and transvaginal examinations, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting. You will work closely with consultants and healthcare professionals, providing diagnostic support and expert advice. The role involves maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and delivering a compassionate and professional service to patients. Requirements: Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent). HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council) or registration with a relevant professional body. Extensive experience in gynecological ultrasound scanning, including transvaginal and transabdominal procedures. Strong understanding of ultrasound safety and best practices.
