Join Our Team: Administrative Assistant
You will support us by performing day-to-day administrative duties, including supporting clients and communicating via phone and email.
Who are The Uncommon Practice?
The Uncommon Practice are an accounting and consulting firm, shaking up the traditional world of professional services. We have grown rapidly, and expect to double in size in the coming months.
The Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of our practice. Here’s what you’ll do:
1. Administrative Tasks: Handle day-to-day administrative duties efficiently.
2. Financial and Compliance Tasks: Assist with financial processes and compliance requirements.
3. Accounting Support: Work closely with our accounts department to ensure smooth operations.
4. Client Communication: Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email.
Who we’re looking for?
While some admin knowledge and experience is helpful for this role, we place far more value on attitude over aptitude. We are looking for someone who has:
1. Strong Written and Verbal Communication: You can send and write clear, concise messages.
2. A Confident and Professional Manner: You will represent The Uncommon Practice brand with pride.
3. Strong Organisational Skills: You will be able to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly.
You will need to be familiar with Microsoft365 tools but you will be given the support you need to learn how to use our other software tools.
This role will come with a high level of autonomy. We’re looking for someone who can work as part of our close-knit team, act on their own initiative, manage their time effectively, and take pride in building The Uncommon Practice brand.
Knowledge and Skills (Required):
1. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
2. Familiarity with Microsoft Office365 suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
3. Professional demeanour and organisational abilities.
4. Good writing and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
Additional Duties
As a growing business, the tasks you undertake will be varied. We expect all of our employees to work flexibly on different tasks when necessary.
Location and Flexibility
This is an office-based role with some flexibility in terms of working from home. Our offices are in Redwither Tower, Wrexham Industrial Estate.
