Job Description Duties & Responsibilities Core Responsibilities: Serve as a key technical resource for architecting future solutions across the CCH Group. Manage multiple concurrent projects for both Technical Services and the broader business. Collaboration within cross-functional teams is essential, alongside strong project experience. Uphold a “Security First” mindset, both personally and as part of a wider team, ensuring secure systems in collaboration with the Head of IT Infrastructure. Act as a point of escalation for infrastructure-related issues. Technical Responsibilities: Maintain server and network systems in both Azure and on-premises environments. Research and develop innovative ideas and technologies to improve infrastructure. Specify and implement technical solutions and infrastructure technologies to meet evolving business needs. Manage and maintain group-wide backup and recovery systems. Ensure adherence to change control procedures when working with infrastructure technologies. Support & Training: Train Service Desk Analysts on system maintenance tasks and provide on-call support when necessary. Offer technical training on 2nd-line skills and tasks to Service Centre staff as required. Participate in critical issue calls while on shift or on call and drive them to resolution. Document technical solutions and plans to ensure clarity and continuity. Additional Responsibilities: Build and configure software on servers as needed. Actively support the implementation and maintenance of secure and scalable IT systems.
