An established financial services company are searching for a Senior Credit Controller to join the team in the Southampton area. Your Role: While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to: Managing a portfolio of client accounts, handling all matters relating to their credit control Proactively making credit control calls to chase current and overdue debt, with the expectation of 50-80 calls per day. Promptly providing updates to clients to keep them up to date with the state of their credit control Handling issues or queries that arise, liaising with management to provide solutions Working towards targets and KPIs, set for both the team and individual Identifying trends and areas for improvement, making management aware so that processes can be kept as streamline as possible You MUST Have: Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria: Extensive previous credit control or collections experience Exposure to handling the entire credit control process Excellent communication skills Strong, positive telephone manner, with exposure to managing large call quantities a day Good ability to use Microsoft Office and accounting systems such as Sage Your Opportunity: This business have been providing cash flow solutions for several decades and have built up not only a good client base but also an excellent reputation for business consultancy on financial strategy and credit collections. The position holder will join a diverse team of Credit Controllers and will be lead by a talented Credit Control Manager. There will be the expectation that the position holder will be able to change and progress their clients' accounts, ensuring their cash flow is smooth and that debt is acknowledged and chased to ensure good customer satisfaction.For this position, applicants could receive a salary up to £32,000; depending upon experience, with the potential for additional bonus earnings.
