Responsibilities :
1. Devises and implements best practices in health care management to achieve leadership position in the healthcare industry in this part of the country.
2. Devises and implements both short term and long term strategies of the organization in order to achieve leadership position.
3. Develops long term strategies for growth, thinking globally by taking a broad view of the business and its opportunities.
4. Establishes organizational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, and determining quality and patient service strategies.
5. Plans, directs, monitors, and appraises the contribution of the doctors.
6. Identifies, nurtures, and channels the energies and strengths of the doctors and motivates them constantly.
7. Develops patient care strategies by researching and observing trends in the medical world.
8. Generates reports regarding the quality of medical care and the working of the medical staff, acting as a channel of communication between the management and the medical staff.
9. Schedules duties of the medical staff and assists in scheduling operating room and other medical and paramedical services.
10. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on working results.
11. Maintains and directs medical staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning and appraising their performances.
12. Contributes to financial objectives by preparing annual medical budgets and scheduling capital expenses.
