Role: Technical Partnerships Manager

Our client is a UK-wide & Global leading supplier of Audio-Visual & IT solution services to the indoor & outdoor event industry, based in Gloucestershire. Due to exciting business growth & expansion, they are on the lookout for a Technical Partnerships Manager to join their team.
This is an onsite working role, with flexible working options potentially available.
The Role
This role would suit a candidate who is an experienced and ambitious Technical Partnerships Manager with a passion for adding value and an exciting existing client portfolio, along with generating new business within the events spaces.
The right candidate will be responsible for creating and growing excellent existing client partnerships. You will need to have drive and passion for the industry and go the extra mile for an already-built client portfolio. You will be able to identify new business opportunities across the IT / Network Sector, which include festivals, conferences, exhibitions, outdoor events, etc.
You will have a client-focused / client-led approach with excellent relationship-building skills with new clients, able to identify their needs and create proposals around what they are looking for, with the ability to pitch new sales ideas and products to clients.
As part of the role, you will be required to attend conferences & events to build relationships and partnerships within the industry, as well as staying up to date with new trends.
You will be required to create sales forecasts, along with having a strong understanding of the company products and the competition within the industry.
The right candidate will need to have excellent time management skills, proven experience within Partnerships management, and be able to communicate effectively with senior-level management internally and externally across the business.
What will This Involve?
* Identifying new business opportunities in the IT/Networks sector, which includes festivals, conferences, exhibitions, outdoor events, etc.
* Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products and the competition in the industry.
* Supporting the Partnerships Director to achieve the targets set that contribute to the overall company goals.
* Being responsible for quality control in terms of equipment specification of the correct equipment not only for assigned projects but for all other ongoing projects.
* Being accountable for operational efficiency with correct margins and able to measure and report on the pipeline.
* Maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
* Liaising directly with customers on & off site. (Weekend working may apply)
* Working within a sustainable manner / approach.
* Visiting clients on a regular basis.
* Reporting figures on a weekly basis, on a 6-month pipeline.

* Ensuring all customer details and needs are met and exceeded.
* Being a credible professional, able to establish & maintain excellent relationships with senior contacts.
* Ability to make key commercial decisions to help meet both external and internal budgets.
* Confident and upbeat with the ability to work under pressure.
* Organised and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring delivery is over and beyond.
