Job summary We are looking for salaried GPs to work in our Helston and Porthleven surgeries and join our friendly and supportive team of 8 partners and 11 salaried GPs. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population b. The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract c. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance d. Effective management of long-term conditions e. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks f. On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles g. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance h. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload i. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process j. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice k. Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF l. Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines About us The role:- 4-6 session per week flexibility could be available for the right candidate SystmOne practice, using Ardens and Accurx Urgent care team offering support on duty days. Reduction in appointments on some sessions to a max of 24 appointments for the day for a more sustainable workload. We are looking to increase this for all routine sessions.
