About Job:
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Technician to ensure product and process quality. Responsibilities include inspecting goods, performing chemical analyses, maintaining accurate documentation, addressing quality issues, and calibrating laboratory equipment. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to resolving non-conformance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Perform quality inspection of incoming goods to ensure compliance with standards.
* Conduct quality control checks on finished products
* Perform chemical analysis of raw materials and product concentrates
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of all quality-related documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs)
* Report quality control issues to the Production and Quality Assurance teams promptly
* Oversee the segregation of non-conforming items and recommend corrective actions where necessary, ensuring these actions are implemented
* Calibrate, verify, and monitor measuring devices within a laboratory setting to maintain accuracy and reliability
About You:
An ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience, skills, and attributes. Please note that these competencies are not ranked in order of priority. Following criteria will be used in selecting a candidate.
* Previous experience in a Quality Control (QC) laboratory is essential.
* Ideally, possess expertise in testing packaging, componentry, raw materials, and blend analysis prior to production, as well as performing regular in-line sampling of finished products.
* Proficient in producing Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformance.
* Meticulous attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
