What the Job Involves This role is based in the Family Support & Protection Team, responsible for assessing and planning for children and families requiring social care. You'll conduct assessments, develop outcome-focused plans, and manage cases involving high levels of statutory intervention, including Child Protection, and legal proceedings related to adoption. You'll also collaborate with multi-agency partners to reduce risk and build on the strengths of children and families. Skills Professional social work knowledge and case management Understanding of relevant legislation and child protection policies Experience with complex case assessments and report writing Effective communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders Capability to present and negotiate in formal settings, including court Dedication to professional development and innovation Valid driving license and access to a vehicle Registered with the Care Council for Wales
