Manufacturing Validation Engineer
Our client, a leading defence organisation located in Bolton, is seeking a Manufacturing Validation Engineer to join their expanding team. This role focuses on the technical validation of external supply chain activities, ensuring the successful delivery of components required for high-rate production.

What You'll Do as the Manufacturing Validation Engineer:
1. Lead project Industrial Validation Plan execution and reporting.
2. Handle a portfolio of suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
3. Support suppliers to ensure that they develop robust manufacturing systems and control plans, to enable the capability to deliver on-quality, on-time and on-cost in series production.
4. Undertake Industrial Validation activities such as Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews in preparation for series production.
5. Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing & supply chain risks and put in place associated improvement and mitigation plans.
6. Collaborate and support a multi-functional team.
Your Qualifications:
1. A background in Manufacturing Engineering with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
2. Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) in aerospace or defence is beneficial.
3. Proficiency in validation tools such as APQP, MRL assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews.
4. Strong analytical skills and experience with SAP QM systems.
5. Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach.
