Hours of Work: 38 hours per week Staff Benefits: Life Insurance, Medicash scheme, Free car parking on site, Canteen, Career progression, wbstaff Job Title: Maintenance Technician - multiskilled Department: Facilities Reports To: Facilities Manager Purpose of Post Providing an efficient maintenance and repair service to buildings, plant and equipment in order to prevent or minimise breakdowns and down time. Key Tasks Carry out all duties in a safe manner including assessing work for safety before commencement. Carry out an intensive programme of planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance for all company process machinery and equipment. Routine maintenance on all company machinery, equipment and buildings to include fault finding, problem solving and minor repairs to minimize down time. Full accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Health and Safety legislation and company insurance and ISO requirements etc. Reports without delay, all major breakdowns, significant problems, repair requirements, delays or machine down time to the maintenance manager. Accompanies/assists contractors while on site to ensure repair of equipment. Carry out repairs in relation to buildings and utilities, planned and executed in such a way so as to minimise risk of inconvenience to others. Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post. General Undertake all duties in line with General Data Protection and maintain utmost level of confidentiality. Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. Ensure that you treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the Dignity at Work Procedure.
