About the role
As our Maintenance Assistant, you will assist our Senior Maintenance person with repairs and maintenance across our home. You’ll walk the home daily to proactively identify areas needing attention and conduct regular safety checks on equipment. You will create a maintenance programme for the home alongside our Home Manager and interact with residents daily—so you should be friendly, caring, and respectful of residents’ dignity at all times.
Here are some other important details:
* Experience in similar maintenance roles, including painting and decorating. Plumbing and electrical experience are beneficial.
* You will keep accurate records of all checks and repairs completed and scheduled.
