Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced part-time employee that would be able to join the company with minimal training and a start date as soon as possible.
The Employee Would Need The Following Skills
1. HR Administration - good communication skills with both employees, employers and outside agencies.
2. Proficient in accounting software - QuickBooks would be preferable and experienced in all aspects of the purchase ledger (sales ledger knowledge would be beneficial).
3. Experienced in Google Drive/Cloud based organisation.
4. Payroll, PAYE would be an advantage.
5. Experience in preparing and submitting VAT returns.
6. Pleasant and helpful personality is a must.
We are offering 18 - 21 hours per week permanent position over 4 days per week and are flexible within office hours of 8.30am to 5pm. This is a fast-growing company with a view to extend the hours of work in the future.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain Purchase Ledger Accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
2. HR Administration, Update policies and procedures with current legal requirements.
3. Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy to support various administrative functions.
4. Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to resolve any issues or queries promptly.
5. Support the preparation of reports and documentation as required by management.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in an administrative/accounting role.
2. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective collaboration across teams.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
5. Familiarity with accounting programmes (QuickBooks) would be an advantage.
6. Payroll, Cloud Based Storage and Organisation.
