We are looking for a dynamic thinker to support our local planning of patient journeys. The role involves effectively planning patient journeys to and from home / health care settings using our cleric system and against set key performance indicators.
Our patients have varying clinical and mobility needs, and ensuring we show care, compassion, and empathy is our priority.
You will need a calm approach under pressure, have geographical knowledge of West Essex and outlying areas. Customer service skills are also key as you will be liaising with patients, clinics, and our staff.
Main duties of the job
1. Responsible for the planning of transport for future dates.
2. Responsible for the control of ambulance service resources for the current day.
3. To ensure all patients on our transport get home as quickly as possible.
Full training is provided, and the role will work on a shift basis covering a range of shifts between 0600 - 2200hrs 7 days a week. You will be required to have some flexibility and be reliable.
