We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with diverse learning requirements in a Primary School setting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to students, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and helping them grasp concepts and build essential skills.
* Collaborate with educators and therapists to develop personalized learning plans and ensure the best outcomes for each child.
* Encourage communication and social skills, facilitating interactions between students and fostering confidence and friendships.
* Celebrate progress and witness the growth and achievements of your students, sharing in their successes.
What We're Looking For:
* A calm and compassionate approach, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to work independently but also as a team member, with a passion for working with children and making a real impact on their lives.
* Some experience of supporting children is necessary, with any experience in schools, with children, with SEN, as a graduate, a youth mentor, sports coach, or anything similar preferred.

Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references covering the last 3 years of work history, as well as possessing an up-to-date DBS on update service or being willing to apply for one through Protocol Education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the option to make this role permanent at a later date.
