Our client is a global FinTech organisation supplying a range of software products to the B2B and B2C marketplace. They are now seeking a Purchasing Manager for a 12-month contract located at their impressive UK headquarters in central London. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.
Duties
* Specialize in finding goods and services for businesses at the best price including office supplies, inventory, and large scale purchases like real estate.
* Counted on to meet budgetary constraints and increase profitability.
* Issue purchase orders based on the requirements from manufacturing, operations or project management divisions within the company.
* Assess the performance of suppliers in responding to demands, develop long-term relationships.
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of contracts.
* Track and monitor inventory and needs to determine when to order or purchase new items.
Qualifications
* Certified purchasing qualifications such as CPP, CPPM and CPPC.
* 5-10 years as a Procurement/Purchasing specialist.
* FinTech background and B2B experience would prove very useful.
