My client is a main car dealership based in Norwich and is currently looking for a vehicle preparation technician to join their team
About the position
The successful candidate for our Used Vehicle Preparation Controller vacancy will have previous experience in a similar role, proven customer service skills and show the ability to work to deadlines and targets as well as working well in a team.
You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Used Vehicle Preparation Controller position involves:
1. Supporting the operation of the Sales department by providing co-ordination and administrative duties
2. Appraisal of all stock vehicles delivered to site, on day of arrival
3. Inspecting, costing, and instructing cosmetic and mechanical preparation to bring all vehicles to Volkswagen Display Standards
4. Organising, directing and controlling all of the activities of the preparation department to achieve a consistently high standard of workmanship, whilst optimising effective and efficient use of material and personnel resources
5. Maintaining showroom and stock management;
6. Providing exceptional customer service that leads to customer loyalty and referrals.
7. Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
