Job Title: Supply Teacher

Job Duties:
As a Supply Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality teaching and cover lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This includes following the school's curriculum, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring the well-being and safety of students. You will need to adapt quickly to different teaching styles, classroom settings, and age groups, while effectively managing classroom behaviour and engaging students in the learning process.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working in a classroom setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and time management
Education:
A degree in Education or relevant subject area
Experience:
Prior experience as a teacher or working in the education sector
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of the national curriculum
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
Strong classroom management skills
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE)
Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or behaviour management
Working Conditions:
You will be required to work full-time hours on a contract basis, covering classes as needed. This may involve travelling to different schools within the designated area. The working environment may vary, and you must be prepared to adapt to different settings and age groups.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
