We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Freight Froward Administrator to join our clients team in South Tyneside.
Duties
Speaking to customers and taking bookings
Checking and allocation of cargo to correct flight/services
Completion of MAWB and HAWB’s
Entering details into the system
Order chasing and accounts queries
Checking and sending out invoices
Controlling proof of delivery
Process Import/Export shipments
Manage incoming calls and correspondence
Perform data entry tasks ensuring all records are up to date
Organise and maintain office files
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members.
Provide clerical support including typing documents, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.Experience
Experience of working in a freight forwarding role is essential
Computer literate
Excellent customer service and telephone skills
Have to be able to work comfortably as a team player as well as being self motivated
Willingness and acceptance to be flexible in all aspects of training programmes
