What you’ll do:
Customers Bank is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in shaping our DevOps culture and practices, focusing primarily on our Microsoft Azure platform. Your expertise, whether in Azure or AWS, will drive our cloud-based initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency in our cloud operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Platform Management:
o Lead and manage cloud-based infrastructure, primarily in Microsoft Azure, with openness to AWS environments.
o Cloud Enterprise application network configuration.
o Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure/AWS.
o Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.
2. CI/CD Pipeline Development:
o Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
o Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enhance development efficiency.
3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
o Implement infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
o Ensure infrastructure automation and provisioning are efficient, repeatable, and secure.
4. Monitoring and Performance Tuning:
o Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure high performance and availability.
o Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and issues.
5. Collaboration and Support:
o Work closely with development teams to understand and address their infrastructure needs.
o Provide DevOps support and expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
6. Best Practices and Security:
o Enforce best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance.
o Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies.
What do you need?
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services; AWS experience is a plus.
* Experience in automating cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
* Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
