Maintenance Engineer, Leicester, Continental Salary £48,000 + Benefits
Multi skilled with an Electrical bias
An Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer is required to carry out maintenance within a team of Maintenance Engineers who are responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance on new and existing equipment
Job Purpose
Ensure all plant, equipment & site services are maintained and repaired in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner while ensuring all plants are run to their maximum efficiency.
Manage the engineering resource and ensure compliance with all current codes of practice including standards and any statutory compliance
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
·Ensuring that the equipment and plant are maintained.
·Reacting to breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
·PLC fault finding to input and output level.
·Remedy issues highlighted by our in-house HAACP audits.
·Responding to out-of-hours calls for breakdowns.
·Enhance the machine's reliability through regular planned preventative maintenance.
·Troubleshooting on electrical equipment is a must.
The successful Maintenance Engineer ideally will have experience with food process machinery and will have some the following qualifications:
BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro - technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance, Time served apprentice, HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering.
This position would suit; Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, service Engineer or Packaging Engineer.
