Overview
Red Recruitment are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and practices, with a focus on optimizing manufacturing processes. This role requires a logical thinker with hands-on experience in tool hanging, and Plastic injection Moulding. The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing production efficiency and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Assemble and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure proper operation within manufacturing systems.
* Create and interpret schematics for various production processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement in production methods.
* Conduct testing and validation of new processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Provide technical support for plastics injection moulding processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
* Maintain detailed documentation of process changes, improvements, and outcomes.
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly and tooling.
* Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in manufacturing processes.
* Experience with plastics injection moulding.
* Demonstrated ability to analyse processes and implement continuous improvement strategies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
