We need an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive team at one of our partner SEN schools in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Our SEN school provides an inclusive environment for primary-aged learners with a variety of learning and additional needs.
We are looking for a dedicated SEN TA who is committed to long-term contracts or temp-to-perm roles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing learning support to pupils in Key Stages 1, 2, and 3.
- Supporting learners with undiagnosed needs and assisting their emotional well-being.
- Collaborating with parents, carers, and staff to ensure pupils are engaged and progressing in their learning.
- Offering one-to-one support within mainstream classes.
- Ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment for pupils.
- Working in a location commutable to Leatherhead, Surrey.
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A strong commitment to ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to succeed in their education.
- Experience supporting learners with communication needs.
- A relevant teaching or learning support qualification.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or a certificate issued within the last 12 months.
- The right to work in the UK (please note we do not offer sponsorship).
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:15.
