Please note, we do not require for you to have Fabrication experience for this role, as this will be taught on the job, we are looking for a driven Team Leader with hands off experience that can excel in managing a Production Team, hold daily and weekly management meetings is process driven. Overview: The Fabrication Team Leader is pivotal in driving the success of the fabrication department. The purpose is to ensure the team of Fabricators meet the customer demand of high-quality fabricated products on ‘time and in full’ (OTIF) for standard ‘stock’ parts and Added Value Solution projects (AVS), in line with the business growth strategy. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that outputs for our Fabricated PVC, HDPE Fuze, and MecFlow product ranges are met or exceeded in line with agreed production standards. Ensure that the correct component parts are available in the required quantities in readiness for the start of fabrication orders to avoid production delays. Ensure that production output and any other relevant data is captured and recorded to enable monitoring of departmental performance. Chair Daily Management meetings where there is a focus on achievement of agreed KPI’s, including trend analysis and correct actions / countermeasures. Ensure the workload is organised and distributed to all team members in accordance with the production plan. Ensure fabricated items are completed in time to meet customer wanted dates. Ensure the development of the team’s skill and competences through PDR’s, training and one to one coaching etc. Effective handling of personnel requirements relating to attendance (Zeus / Absence), inductions, conflicts, training, check in’s, and performance.
