Job Description
Nitec Solutions Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Experienced Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-driven individual, with a strong desire for development and problem-solving, with a particular interest in a full stack web system development role. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing the best IT solutions for our customers, whilst transacting business with honesty and openness.
Key Responsibilities:
Whilst not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, the successful candidate should expect their days to include;
* Design, build and maintain high performing, flexible and scalable software solutions.
* Interacting with stakeholders to understand software requirements and provide solutions.
* Development of web based data management systems.
* Translating stakeholder requirements into an understandable format for coders.
* Mentoring team members and assisting them with coding questions.
* Solving issues within your own software and occasionally others' software.
* Working independently on complex software development issues.
* Delivering highly technical solutions, that are user-centric.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
* Optimising code for speed, scalability, and security.
* Attending meetings and training as required.
As you grow and develop in your role, these responsibilities may differ, however they will always be reasonable with sufficient training provided.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who;
* At least 5 years of experience in software development.
* Motivated by tackling difficult coding issues.
* Driven by end user experience that exceeds expectations.
* Enjoys team interaction and making stakeholders happy by seeing the software in use.
* Thrives on collaborating with like-minded individuals on complex architectural issues.
* Passionate about learning and exploring new technologies.
* Is willing to be stretched, and thrives in busy environments.
* Is forward thinking in the absence of direction.
* Proven track record of building highly functional, scalable applications.
* Creative in taking a broad or loosely defined problem, through to a deliverable solution.
* Has a particular interest in Full Stack development.
Education & Skills:
* While a degree is preferred, we value a way of thinking over formal education. Some degree’s (or equivalent) that are desirable are; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or any other related discipline.
* Professional Certifications which may be desirable are: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer, or other relevant certifications.
* Proficient in SQL.
* Ability to see solutions where others see problems.
* Ability to think critically and view situations from multiple angles.
* Strong interpersonal skills to relate to people from various technological backgrounds and industries.
* Desirable qualification and/or experience in C# and ReactJS
* Experience in cloud services (particularly Azure) and managing high-traffic environments.
* Experience in Source Control via Git.

Rate of Pay
* £30,000.00 – £43,350.00 per annum depending upon experience.
