Cook PT (Mon-Fri) 4:00 am - 11:00 am (start times may vary) $15.00 per hour (paid vacation/sick time) Location: Modern Maturity Center, Dover, DE, 19904 Skills Required : ServSafe Certification preferred Experience in cooking and food preparation is MANDATORY Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities : Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner Follow food safety and sanitation regulations Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared efficiently Assist head Cook with menu planning and development Observes and tests food being cooked by tasting, smelling and taking temperatures Ensures that serving lines have adequate supplies of food Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Production Manager Requirements: Must pass a criminal background check Education/Experience : Must have high school diploma or general education degree and/or 1-2 years' experience Because of the high volume of applications we receive, we are not able to give status updates, but if you are invited for an interview, you will be contacted directly by the Human Resources Department for this position.
