Job Opportunity: Technical Manager - Food Industry Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Technical Manager to ensure compliance with BRC standards, retailer manufacturing standards, and industry legislation at their North of England site. This site operates 24/7 with up to 300 contractors, and our client values their employees as key to their ongoing success. Key Responsibilities: Oversee site Quality systems, legality, and governance. Lead BRC and customer COP compliance. Maintain HACCP system and microbiological standards. Manage customer audits and ensure food safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the Technical Team to implement updates to Customer Codes of Practice. Ensure safe working practices in Food Safety and Health & Safety. Essential Criteria: Proven experience in food safety, GMP, and HACCP. Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related biological science. 4 years in a technical food management role with multi-retailer exposure. Experience in managing hygiene teams in a high-care or high-risk manufacturing environment.
