About The Team With a big ambition and millions of our loyal customers using the experiences we create every day; UX plays a huge part in what we do at The Very Group (and rightly so). We are looking for a Researcher who is passionate about pushing the boundaries, understanding our customers and helping to create great experiences based on deep customer insight. You will work in a centralised UX Research function, supporting our cross-functional product squads of Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts, BAs, Testers, Delivery leads and of course UX Designers. You will lead end-to-end research for both in-squad and wider strategic business initiatives, play a leading part in shaping visions and roadmaps and facilitate discovery sessions with a range of stakeholders. You will also be joining a collaborative team of researchers and designers, who use their deep understanding of our customers to create seamless and intuitive experiences across all our brands and platforms. Day to Day Responsibilities Support product teams and wider business in conducting impactful research that informs, shapes and validates customer-centric solutions. Be creative with methodology, ensuring maximum insight from each study. Understand our customer needs and evangelise customer centricity. Advocate inclusivity for users with a range of access needs. Collaborate with other research and insight functions across the business. Collaborate with partners across the business to influence UX best practices and ways of working. What you need to be successful A naturally inquisitive and insight-driven mindset that works collaboratively and openly with UX Designers, product teams and business stakeholders. Demonstratable experience (preferably 2 years) with end-to-end research, analysis, workshop facilitation and discovery Good practical knowledge of research tools and methodologies. Effective communication and storytelling skills, allowing you to strongly articulate recommendations. Good stakeholder management and the ability to champion UX Research around the business.
