Overall Objective:
Control of all day-to-day activities on civil engineering schemes valued between £0.5m to £5m. Responsible for one single site, reporting to Contracts Manager or part of a team on a larger project.
Key Accountabilities:
* Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements and Company Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
* Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects.
* Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements.
* Ensure technical compliance and the safety of all operational activities.
* Monitor progress against programme, take off and call off materials in advance of work.
* Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme.
* Prepare detailed weekly lookahead programmes.
* Schedule and manage resources to deliver site works.
* Provide accurate records and measurement details to enable the Quantity Surveyor to prepare monthly valuations.
* Support the planning, design and management of projects.
* Manage information flow and identify technical queries.
* Ensure exceptional levels of customer care.

Experience and Qualifications:
* Computer literate, including Microsoft suite of applications.
* CSCS Site Supervisor (Gold).
* 5 day Site Managers Safety Training Scheme certificate.
* Experience of civil engineering schemes of values £100k - £2 million.
* First aid at work certificate desirable.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
