Job Title R2R Manager (secondment) Job Description Reporting to the R2R Director, the R2R Manager will have responsibility for delivering the monthly management reporting schedules, statutory accounts and key statistical analysis for the certain entities within the EMEA Finance Operations structure. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with key regional stakeholders and lead a team in delivering accurate and insightful data to help support key decision making and strategy development. This role will provide the opportunity to work across many areas of finance and receive strong exposure to senior finance & functional leaders, representing a great platform for developing a career at Sage. This is a 2 year secondment opportunity, hybrid working, 3 days per week based out of our Newcastle office. Key Responsibilities As an R2R Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) process for your assigned region, ensuring high service standards and supporting financial compliance. This role combines process management, reporting accuracy, and team leadership to drive excellence in financial operations. ? You'll manage the R2R process to ensure timely, accurate financial close and provide meaningful analysis on trends and movements. Collaborating with local Finance Controllers (FCs), you'll support budgeting and forecasting, conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations, and oversee periodic reviews. You'll manage audits by coordinating documentation and addressing findings, ensuring statutory financial statements are delivered on schedule. You'll work to understand and comply with local GAAP requirements and other compliance areas, including the Internal Control Framework. Additionally, you'll lead process improvements, support strategic decisions with the R2R Lead, and mentor team members, fostering a culture focused on growth and improvement. ' We're seeking an experienced finance professional with strong skills in R2R process management, financial analysis, and audit coordination. You should have a solid understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and statutory reporting, with an eye for accuracy and compliance. Proven leadership abilities are essential, as is a commitment to process improvement and mentoring colleagues. A proactive approach and familiarity with local GAAP and internal controls will make you a strong candidate for this role.
