Tersus Consultancy are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Dinnington, Sheffield office.

You must have at least 5 years’ experience within Asbestos.
What will you be doing?
1. Managing contracts per client specifications and Tersus' standards, ensuring optimal service delivery
2. Mobilising new contracts and clients
3. Supporting the head of region in team and resource management
4. Ensuring labour costs are within budget
5. Overseeing BAU tasks, including staffing, payroll, invoicing, and appraisals
6. Collaborating with the Quality Manager to maintain UKAS accreditation
7. Ensuring client satisfaction and KPI achievement
8. Liaising with other regions to ensure successful contract servicing
9. Assisting in complaint investigations
10. Providing inspirational leadership and team motivation
11. Delegating duties appropriately, including succession planning
12. Working proactively with internal teams
13. Identifying new business opportunities and representing Tersus at events
14. Attending management meetings and providing necessary information
15. Assisting in integrating newly acquired businesses
16. Performing other tasks as directed by Tersus' senior management
What do you need?
1. Relevant qualifications such as P402, P403, P404, and P405 BOHS proficiency modules (or equivalent RSPH qualifications) with at least 3 years of industry experience.
2. Experience of People Management and development
3. Understanding Budgets and Financial Controls
4. IT Literate
5. Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills
6. Flexibility and responsiveness to work and travel
