Role Overview:
We’re looking for a star team player who’s passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times to join our production team in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order.
2. Help create cleaning schedules for the team and be the main point of contact.
3. Ensure all stewarding team members arrive for their scheduled shift punctually and in clean uniforms.
4. Manage the stewarding team and maintain cleanliness, ensuring to report any deficiencies.
5. Ensure that the right cleaning tools and chemicals are used in the kitchen facility at all times.
6. Lead and supervise the stewarding team in all aspects and ensure standards are followed.
7. Conduct training and assist with diagrams, log sheets, and documentation.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
1. Previous experience as a stewarding supervisor or in a similar role.
2. Knowledge & Competency: Able to train new staff members and re-train when necessary.
3. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including machinery and kitchen tools.
4. Ability to lead the stewarding team and ensure all standards and regulations are met.
5. Familiarity with chemical dilution systems like TDS (Training Data Sheets) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
6. Maintain HACCP standards in and around the kitchen.
7. Clear communication skills with a friendly personality.
