The Role:
Role Purpose: We are seeking a customer-centric Product Owner who places the user at the heart of every decision. This role transcends traditional backlog management; it’s about transforming the customer journey through innovative and exceptional experiences. As a key player in our digital transformation, you’ll focus on optimising the customer journey with your squad, leveraging insights to make data-driven decisions that align with user needs and drive commercial success.
About the Role: As the Product Owner for the Growth Tribe at Staysure, you will accelerate our ambitions to build a diverse portfolio of products in the travel insurance sector. We’re looking to leverage new technologies and explore UK, EU, and global markets. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a new Tribe, uniting expertise from across the business during an exciting growth phase for the company.
What will you do?
* User-Centric Product Ownership: Develop a product vision based on user needs and behaviours. Conduct user research to validate product hypotheses.
* Backlog Management and Prioritisation: Own and prioritise the product backlog. Break down requirements into actionable user stories and tasks.
* Commercial Acumen: Balance user needs with business growth objectives. Analyse market trends and business metrics to inform decisions. Provide commercial insights in weekly trading sessions.
* Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with designers, developers, marketers, and stakeholders. Ensure clear communication with offshore development teams.
* Champion of Best Practices: Implement best practices in product management and agile methodologies. Continuously seek learning and growth opportunities. Set and own OKRs, align roadmap and sprint plans. Use CRO and experimentation to enhance user journeys.
* Stakeholder Management and Communication: Engage with stakeholders at all levels. Communicate complex problems clearly and effectively.
