About Logiq
Logiq Consulting are Cyber Security and Information Assurance experts. Specialising in delivering leading edge consultancy to clients with high-risk business operations, along with a range of security services and products relied upon throughout the Private and Public Sector.
Our existing programmes of work are expanding rapidly, and we have urgent requirements for a Principal Consultant, to enable us to continue to deliver at an accelerated rate. Ideally you will have current or recent experience leading the design and engineering delivery of complex IT transformation, either within Defence or Security organisations.
About You
We are seeking a highly capable Principal Solution Architect to join the Secure Systems team within the company’s Architecture Practice.
The successful candidate will be a Full Member of the British Computer Society (BCS) (or equivalent Chartered Institute) and should hold a certification such as Chartered IT Professional (CITP) or Chartered Engineer (CEng). It would also be desirable for them to hold current certifications in relevant technologies and products commonly deployed in secure systems.
Logiq Consulting are a leading player in the design and implementation of complex high-assurance systems. We are looking for team members and leaders who share our vision that IT transformation is driven by business requirements, effective user experience, and a holistic view of security that can guide clients to delivery of capabilities which are inherently secure.
Ideally you will have worked across the system lifecycle, undertaking the key engineering stages from requirements, architecture & design, through to detailed implementation planning, execution, and testing. You will also have hands-on experience of the challenges of secure system delivery, high assurance development and deployment, and working in air-gapped environments. It is essential that you can demonstrate the highly integrated role of architecture & design with continuous security assurance, when delivering secure capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be both experienced and invested in ensuring that our clients' solutions are effective and secure and will have the inter-personal skills needed to do this, e.g. ability to lead workshops, engage with business leaders, and drive the secure solutions required to meet complex and competing requirements. With your delivery experience you will be comfortable operating in a ‘customer friend’ type role, supporting clients understand, trade and optimise their solutions to deliver operational capabilities within their project constraints. Our Principal Consultants are also highly capable engineers who can lead and deliver system development, deploying and configuring technology and products as part of a delivery and implementation team, adopting a blended approach to both consulting & engineering, to ensure projects are delivered and deployed successfully into live environments.
You will also be comfortable enhancing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth and will have experience developing proposals and tender submissions in pursuit of new business opportunities.
