Employee Relations Specialist – Director/VP Director, P4, Employee Relations We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Employee Relations Specialist. This is a Director/Vice President level position within the EMEA Employee Relations team. In this role, you will partner with HR Business Partners, Employment Legal and others to investigate allegations of inappropriate behaviour and advise on complex HR matters. Read on… What You’ll Do In The Role Manage EMEA Employee Relations investigations and formal hearings (as required) specifically grievances, disciplinaries and appeals and ‘speaking up’ matters. This will include collaboration with Employment Legal, HR Business Partners and others (as appropriate), supporting Hearing Managers, briefing and providing ER recommendations to Business Units. Assist HR Business Partners with the management of complex HR matters, including in relation to absence management, flexible working requests and performance management. Prepare and deliver training sessions for HR Business Partners on a range of ER-related topics. Manage ER escalations resulting from background checks, exit interviews, surveillance of communications on firm systems. Compile and review data from ER cases as part of our regular reporting efforts. What You’ll Bring To The Role Proven UK Employee Relations experience gained either in the capacity of an ER Specialist, an HR Business Partner or an Employment lawyer, preferably gained within an investment banking or financial services environment. Experience of managing ER cases in continental Europe would be an advantage (in particular Hungary, Germany and France). Sound understanding and application of relevant UK employment laws and regulations (other EMEA locations would be an advantage).
