What is the Role
An opportunity has arisen in our Leeds office. The role is for an Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician to work on existing and new projects across multiple sectors.
What the Role Entails
* Project running possibly in multiple sectors.
* Working individually and with colleagues to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
* Working with clients and other consultants to manage workload, outputs and project milestones.
* The production of construction stage drawings, mainly in Revit, but occasionally in AutoCAD.
* Working in small project-based teams within the office and digitally across offices.
* Visiting site and external organisations’ offices for Design Team Meetings, site reviews, snagging and client and/or contractor meetings.
Skills & Experience
* Job running experience, preferably across multiple sectors.
* Proven use of Revit on construction projects and a good understanding of the software.
* Preferably experience of working on projects in any of the following sectors – transport, healthcare and/or industrial sectors, though this is not essential.
* Self-motivation and the ability to also work independently.
* An openness to take constructive feedback, which will be given to assist in your development.
* Accountability for the information produced, ensuring it meets the required standards that the practice adheres to.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* A good understanding of construction and technical detailing to produce clear and well-structured drawings.
* A personable manner with the ability to represent the practice on site and at meetings with multiple third parties.
