Contract type:Fixed Term until 30/06/2026 As a Nuclear Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Senior Advisors to coordinate and manage our involvement in the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process. This is the key process used by UK nuclear regulators, including the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and the Environment Agency (EA), to evaluate new nuclear power station designs. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including UK regulators, government departments, and applicants. Your responsibilities will include sharing vital information, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records, and representing NRW in meetings where appropriate, ensuring the smooth flow of communication and collaboration across multiple channels. In addition, you will provide strategic advice to Governance and Sub-groups, contributing to informed decision-making at all levels. Your expertise will be integral to the Radioactivity and Industry Team, where you will undertake diverse and impactful work across the nuclear sector. You will work with colleagues to champion the sustainable management of natural resources, ensuring the long-term viability of the industry and its alignment with best practices.
