Hadleigh Training Centre has been providing training opportunities since 1990 for adults with additional support needs. There are currently approximately 160 trainees who attend the training centre, following personalised pathways to meet a range of outcomes. All training is designed to maximise progression opportunities, whether this be in particular vocational skills, or transferable life skills such as motivation, self-esteem and confidence. Key Responsibilities: The Training Programme Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff responsible for planning and delivering high-quality training activities for our trainees. This will include leading staff in the creation of training activities, utilising individual learning support plans alongside skills assessment tools to plan training pathways and deliver training sessions to progress trainees towards their individual outcomes. You will also model to your team how to actively observe and assess training sessions, provide guidance on approaches to encourage each trainee in relation to their goals and the plans in place to help them be achieved, empowering them to make their own choices. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: A passion to be a part of the delivery of high-level training programmes to transform the lives of those we engage with, with previous experience of having worked successfully in a learning environment. Demonstrable strong experience of successfully leading and managing staff, including recruitment, development and performance management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
